Our Ministries Are Dedicated To Serving The Community And Spreading The Word Of God
We offer a variety of programs and services that cater to people of all ages and backgrounds. Our team of dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors feels welcomed and supported. We believe that our ministries are making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve and we are committed to continuing this important work.
NURSERY
The nursery at Liberty Baptist Church provides a loving and safe environment for newborns to 2 years old for Sunday School, Worship Service and Wednesday Nights. There are plenty of toys for the children to explore, and a crib with bedding if they are ready for their nap, and a diaper changing station when needed.
LIBERTY KIDS
Our children’s ministry is filled with the Word of God, Bible lessons, memory verses, and missionary stories. Our teachers and helpers love the Lord and teach with passion in serving our children. Sunday mornings at 10am we have Sunday School for all ages. Sundays at 11:00 am there is a 2&3 year olds class, 4,5,&6 year old class, and 1st grade-6th grade class. Wednesday Nights we have 2&3 year old class and 4yrs old-6th grade class.
TEEN CLASS
We invite your teen to come and deepen their faith and create lasting memories. We are committed to helping them navigate their teen years with biblical courage and wisdom. Sunday School at 10am the teens of Liberty have a class for 9 th -12 th grade. On Wednesday Nights the teens of Liberty have a class for 6 th grade-12 th grade.
SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY
Sundays at 11:00 am, we have a class for our special needs children with developmental delays, sensory issues, or on the spectrum. It’s a classroom that is a quiet place or a place away from the crowd and noise. We have volunteers who are familiar with unique needs that come with developmental delays, they come in and sit with the individuals and they can have a small bible lesson, watch a video on the bible lesson, or we have sensory beads, pop its, toys, and books to make them feel comfortable and accepted. We want to do our best to accommodate you and what works best for your family to use this class
WARRIOR WIDOWS
Warrior Widows is for widows of all ages and is designed to provide spiritual and emotional support, as well as fun fellowship. Do you feel lonely or maybe don’t want to go to church alone? We want you to connect with other women who understand exactly what you’re going through here at Liberty Baptist Church. Warrior Widows meet at Liberty once a month, check the online calendar for dates/times.
CHILD EVANGELISM FELLOWSHIP OF OHIO, INC. GREATER CANTON
We want to continue to reach our community by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and living out what He has taught us. The Good News Clubs meets every Tuesday after school from October-March. The mission is to win boys and girls to Jesus Christ and help them grow as children of God’s family. We teach a bible lesson, sing songs, play games, memorize scripture, and create new friendships.
MEN AND WOMEN'S FELLOWHSIP
The men of Liberty meet the first Saturday of every month for a Bible Study, fellowship, and Breakfast at 9:00am, the Women of Liberty meet the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm for a Bible Study, time of prayer, and fellowship. Check the online calendar for updates.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
VBS is the highlight of our summer! Kids from 4 years old to 12 years old are invited to participate in this exciting week each year! Your child will have a blast and learn in a fun way Bible lessons, songs, watch hilarious skits, fun games, awards, and yummy snacks. Check online calendar for dates/times.
SENIORS LUNCHEON
Join the men and women of Liberty for a special luncheon for all seniors 55 and older. Take advantage of an opportunity to build relationships and enjoy wonderful fellowship around food and activities. Check the online calendar for dates/times or any updates.
